Delicious Pan Fried Masala Fish Recipe

Ingredients:

  • Indian Salmon Fish
  • Mustard Oil
  • Turmeric powder
  • Cumin powder
  • Green Chilli paste
  • Black Pepper
  • Salt
  • Curd (or malt Vinegar if storing the fish)
  • Coriander Mint Chutney
  • Ginger-Garlic paste
  • Red Chilli powder
  • Garam Masala
  • Carom Seeds
  • Dried Fenugreek Leaves
  • Lemon juice
  • Roasted Chickpea Flour
  • Rice Flour
  • Chaat Masala
  • Fresh Coriander for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the fish: Make gashes in the Indian Salmon Fish.

  2. First stage of marination: In a bowl, mix together Mustard Oil, Turmeric powder, Cumin powder, Green Chilli paste, Black Pepper, and Salt. Rub this mixture onto the fish.

  3. Second stage of marination: In a separate bowl, combine Curd, Coriander Mint Chutney, Ginger-Garlic paste, Red Chilli powder, Garam Masala, Carom Seeds, Dried Fenugreek Leaves, Lemon juice, Roasted Chickpea Flour, and Rice Flour. Mix well and rub this mixture onto the fish.

  4. Add coriander: After applying the marination on one side, sprinkle chopped Coriander and tap it to mix it with the marination on the fish. Repeat on the other side.

  5. Grill the fish: Heat up Oil in a pan and grill the fish until cooked through.

  6. Plate the fish: Add Chaat Masala and squeeze some Lemon juice on top of the fish. Finally, garnish with fresh Coriander.
